I joined OpenMind when it was still becoming what it wanted to be.
As the team moved fast from research and early robotics developments to building public facing robotics infra, there were not yet a visual system for how the company should look and communicate in the world.
Over two years, my role expanded from individual launch graphics into building and applying the visual language across brand, web, technical communication and physical enviornments.
The early work was about the first visual language without becoming rigid.
Starting from the existing iconmark, I developed a visual system around brand color, typography, graphics and launches.
02 / Making the technical legible
03 / Taking the brand into the world
OpenMind was the first place where I experienced design not as a sequence of deliverables, but as something embedded in the life of a company.
The work moved quickly across disciplines: translating engineering into language, language into form, and form into robots that eventually entered the physical world.
This way of working has stayed with me.
